Who doesn’t love football? Better yet, who doesn’t love a football party? With the season kicking off, I thought I’d share a few tips on throwing the ultimate tailgating party. Now, I know that not everyone likes football, so look for a tip or two that will keep everyone engaged at the party.

Of course, the star attraction of the day is the big game, but you should make your football party last all day. Set up a tailgate outside. Play games like cornhole and horseshoes and include a fun game day playlist. Keep the games going throughout the day to give kids and those non-football fanatics something to do during the game.

What makes any party great? The food and the drinks! Easy finger foods win whenever it comes to your game day spread. Add a stadium theme to your spread with hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, and don’t forget the wings. When it comes to drinks, have a wide variety of beer (not everyone likes the IPAs) and be sure to include non-alcoholic drinks as well.

The last thing anyone wants to do is stand for three hours or more. When hosting, make sure there’s enough seating for everyone to enjoy the game. Position your seating as if you’re in a stadium so that everyone can see the TV.

Quick Tips for Non-Football Fans:

Create a Space Away From the Game For Conversation
Have Music and Games Outside

Use these tips along with plenty of decorations to throw the ultimate football party! If you’re looking for more space, give me a call I’ll help you find your next home field.
