It all started in 2007 from my first complete home rehab. Going off the “buy the worst house in the best neighborhood you can afford” motto. Two years later I was at it again. Between then and now it morphed into a business. A business with real life experience, formal training, and some high-tech tools. All in all, my focus is to inspect every property as if it was going to be my home, for my family… And I mean that.
After the house rehabs over and over I began going along with friends to their pre purchase home inspections. Mostly because they know I have a knack for finding things most people miss. I think everyone should have a fair and informed opinion. Not long after helping friends and family out when in need, I was asked by a friend to walk through a house with him. Shortly after the walk through he urged me to make it a business. So, after months of formal training, connected with my real life application to the building/renovation process, it has become just that, a business.

Any and every property inspection will be detailed and thorough. From the sidewalk to the top of the roof and everything accessible will be looked at for functionality and condition. Items in need of repair or attention will be photographed and added to your final report. Appliances will be inspected and information pertaining to their life expectancy will be included. All systems on the property will be tested, if in working condition. Safety issues will be addressed if found. With every property I inspect I do the very best I can to give you an informed opinion. A digital inspection report will be sent to you shortly after the inspection is complete, typically within half an hour or less.
Depending on the property being inspected, I offer a FLIR infrared camera inspection. Thermal imaging for air tightness and energy efficiency are important quality control measures when inspecting a home. Heat loss can account for up to 50% of total energy consumption in a building with causes ranging from air leakage through chimneys, attics and wall vents to badly sealed doorways and failing argon gas windows to missing insulation.
